C.S.I. Sierra Madre

January 15, 2005 by Dennis Baker

I am producing and acting in a short film with the above title. Alot of friends from Azusa Pacific University are working on it. Fellow alumni Daniel Ward wrote it, Scott Phillips is directing, Aaron Kohlberg is also producing and acting in it, Adam Prough is acting in it, and john Schimke is running camera for one weekend. It is a spoof on the CSI series, with the joke being that there is a CSI team in the small town of Sierra Madre.

We recently had auditions for the lead detective and female detective. To all those that submitted and auditioned, thank you!! I got a serious glimpse into the casting world. I saw over 500 headshots for each role and auditioned 18 males and 18 females. Just gettting an audition is pretty good with numbers like that.

We are now finalizing the cast and crew and proceeding with pre-production as we plan to shoot Feb. 19-20 & 26-27.
